Grace Inn Shelter

Bel-Con had the privilege of acting as Construction Manager for Belleville’s first and only emergency shelter which opened in December 2019.  The 6,500sf space sat vacant for a number of years and was converted from a banquet facility (formerly the Irish Hall) into a fully accessible, 21-bed emergency shelter for men and women including a full commercial kitchen, dining hall, shower and laundry facilities.  Bel-Con oversaw construction activities including material and service donations from many individual & corporate community partners.  It was a team effort for a very important cause, and of which we were honoured to participate in and contribute to.
