New SafeStart (Electrolab) Facility Takes Shape

October 2, 2015

Progress continues on the new SafeStart facility which we began working on in April. The new building at 631 College Street East, Belleville, will be just over 28,000 sq. ft., and will include warehouse and office space to house the current team of 70 Electrolab employees. In the following photos you can see the various stages of the building coming together:

part of the roof using Butler TLS-12 with MR-24 roof panels

We place a high value on putting a good roof over our clients' heads. Our designation as a Butler Builder gives us access to a wide range of innovative and proven roofing products. We're installing Butler's ThermaLiner System (TLS-12) with Butler MR-24 roof panels. In the photo to the right, part of the roof is complete. The photo at the top of this article shows the sub-framing that is in place for the main roof using Butler's TLS-12 roof system.

A building isn't much good without electrical and plumbing services. The next image on the right shows those services being roughed in under the floor.

architectural masonry in progress

Of course, what's a building without walls? The final image shows that the architectural masonry is well underway.

Completion of this facility won't necessarily be the end of this project, however. An expansion plan included in the design will allow SafeStart to increase the space by 15,000+ sq. ft. As demand for SafeStart's safety training products and services increases, so will their capacity to meet that growth.

Stay tuned for more progress on this project and be sure to visit our project galleries to see some of our completed buildings. For more info, please contact us if you're interested in learning how we can help you with your own construction project.
