This project for Twin City Investments in Trenton, Ontario involved the re-roofing of the entire 36,300 sq ft metal building portion of the facility. The original roof was a through-fastened system by another manufacturer, and while the roof panels were in decent condition, the panel laps, details and fasteners were all causing issues with regard to repetitive leaks. As the facility is rental space for a variety of tenants, some of which have product that cannot be subjected to leaks, the decision was made to look for a long-term solution. The Butler Lo-Pro Metal-Over-Metal solution was utilized. This system added insulation to the existing system and the MR-24 standing seam roof will provide many years of trouble free, low maintenance service.
Interestingly, one of their tenants utilized our re-roof system on their building and recommended us to Twin City. Twin City has in turn recommended us to another associate of theirs in Trenton and we performed a re-roof for that client as well.
Bel-Con was very responsive throughout the process to answer any of our questions and address any concerns along the way. The level of service was excellent and willingness to help with additional items such as re-installation of fixtures, etc. was truly appreciated.
We are pleased with the work and are confident that the Butler standing seam roof has resolved issues that have existed here at our facility in recent years. We are now looking forward to many years of worry free roof performance for our tenants.
