After our store suffered a fire which instantly put us out of business, we met with several design-build firms and made the decision to engage Bel-Con for our project. Our decision was based not only on the reasonable price, but equally important to us was the confidence we felt in the quality and depth of their team, and the fact that they were very receptive to working closely with myself as a hands-on owner through every phase of the project.

 The project was a resounding overall success due to some key points;

·         Although unforeseen issues emerged, Bel-Con dealt with these challenges proficiently and professionally. They were cognizant of and adhered to all the relevant regulatory requirements.

·         The Site Supervisor kept our project on schedule in spite of some very difficult winter weather.  We opened our store slightly ahead of our target date.

·         Except for the unforeseen items mentioned above, the project came within our projected budget.  Bel-Con was also very conscious of containing the additional costs for the unforeseen items.

·         Our relationship with Bel-Con personnel proved to be effective, productive and in fact, quite enjoyable.  All of their people were cooperative and adaptive to our needs through every phase of the project.

I would not hesitate to recommend Bel-Con Design-Builders Ltd. for any construction project.

Shobrook Gardens is a high class, 60 unit, 4-storey apartment building that is considered to be the most outstanding quality by the Uxbridge mayor and town council, and of which Bel-Con was the original contractor.  From start to finish, the building (90,000 s.f. of living space) was completed in just under 12 months and came in on budget.  Bel-Con provided excellent on-site management and support.
